91-year-old Fairfield resident, Guy Hoskins, Jr. died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter in Fairfield. He was a farmer, and a bus driver for the Geff Grade School for 35 years before retiring. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WW II, and a member of the Geff Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife Vera of Fairfield; one daughter, Kay Jones of Fairfield; one brother, Grant Hoskins of Geff; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Guy Hoskins will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Bestow Cemetery with military rites provide by the Anthony Wayne Post 176, American Legion and Wayne Memorial Post 4535 VFW.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Animals Requesting Friends, and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.
