21-year-old Colten Campbell of Galatia has been jailed on charges he violently shook his 4-month-old daughter, Aubrey Campbell.  The girl was taken to the hospital in Harrisburg last Saturday after being found unresponsive in her crib. The baby was later airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, then to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis where her condition is listed as critical.  Campbell faces a Class-X felony charge of aggravated battery of a child causing permanent injury.  The case was investigated by the Southern Illinois Child Death Investigation Task Force.

Fairfield City Police are searching for the owner of two Case-IH scale model tractors still in the box.  The tractors were recovered as part of a burglary investigation.  Anyone with information about the owners of the tractors should call the Fairfield City Police at 842-2151.

21-year-old Dalton Meyers of White County has been sentenced to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.  He was given a furlough until Dec. 27 to report to jail to start serving his sentence.

34-year-old Eric Warner of Carmi has been sentenced to 6 years in prison after pleading guilty to a class-1 felony charge of residential burglary.  He was also ordered to pay restitution to the victim in the case.

The search for a missing Shawneetown woman has been expanded to the Ohio River.  39-year-old Chrissy Williams has been missing since the evening of Dec. 2 when she left a friend’s home in Rosiclare.  The Ohio River is being searched and more than 500 missing person fliers have been posted around the region.  Police say her 2011 Ford Escape is still missing and there has been no cell-phone or credit card activity reported.
