FOR SALE:  The FPL has a desk for sale in excellent condition!  It has 6 drawers and is 6'x3'.  The cost is $50 OBO for the desk with all proceeds staying at the library.  Call 842-4516 (FPL) if you would like to buy this desk.


LOG CABIN RAFFLE



The Fairfield Public Library and Wayne County Historical Society are holding a raffle for a beautiful log cabin home.  This cabin was handcrafted by an individual in Mt. Vernon, IL and donated by Richard and Anita Pond. Estimated dimensions of the cabin are: 2 1/2 ft wide x 3 ft long x 3 ft tall.  Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  Tickets are available at the Fairfield Public Library or Uniquely Rustique in Fairfield.  All proceeds raised go to the Fairfield Public Library and Wayne County Historical Society. 
The drawing will be held September 25, 2010!

A booth will be set up at the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest displaying this gorgeous log cabin...with raffle tickets available.  Stop by the craft tent to see this cabin in person during the Fall Fun Fest.

Are you interested in obtaining a Library Card at Fairfield Public Library? If so, stop by the library with your photo ID and 1 piece of mail addressed to you within the past thirty days!  There is no charge for a library card if you live within the City Limits of Fairfield.  Individuals outside city limits will have a $30 fee for a year to be a library card holder.



DVD's can be rented from the Fairfield Public Library the same way a book can be rented.  With over one thousand titles to choose from, there's always a great DVD to pick-up hassle free, without having to go to the Movie Store!



Fairfield Public Library ALWAYS has a Book Sale taking place---as well as FREE Magazines up for grabs!  Find your old favorites plus hundreds of other titles in the Daily Book Sale!




Thousands of books, VHS Tapes, and more for children.  They have a children's reading area as well as educational games.
