Tom Land, Founder of WFIW in 1953, is Board Chairman of Wayne County Broadcasting. He remains active in daily station operations, including supervision of FCC Reports and procedures.

David H. Land-President & General Manager

|
Dave returned to Fairfield in 1975 after college and two years in the US Army. He and his wife, Kathy, are the parents of three daughters and grandparents of two boys. Kathy teaches fifth grade at Jasper School.

Vicky Strange-Office Manager

|
Vicky joined Wayne County Broadcasting as Office Manager in 1984. She and her children, Trevor and Andrea, reside in Fairfield. Vicky enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer Crippen-Website Administrator

|
Jennifer joined the WFIW staff in 2007. She is a 2006 graduate of SIU Carbondale with a B.S. Degree in Food and Nutrition with a specialization in Hospitality and Tourism. Jennifer works with website design and sales, as well as many office tasks. Jennifer, her husband Joshua, and daughter Mya reside in Fairfield.

Dodie joined the WFIW staff as an Account Executive in 1997. She received her degree in Radio/Television with a specialization in Broadcast Production from SIU Carbondale. She has been involved in the radio industry since 1988.

Bill joined Wayne County Broadcasting as on-air staff in 1961! He has been a Sales Executive since 1972. Bill and his wife, Sharon, reside in Fairfield.

Jessica began her career in advertising in 2002. She joined the WFIW staff in 2006 as an Account Executive. Jessica resides in Fairfield with her husband, Shawn.

Diana began her career in Radio Advertising in 1977 and joined the WFIW/WOKZ sales staff during 1999. Diana resides with her daughter, Haley, in Carmi.

Len Wells-News Director

Len started his career at WFIW in 1992, bringing with him more than twenty years of news gathering experience. He is a resident of Fairfield and joins Woody Long on the Morning Show weekdays on 104.9 FM.

Tom Lavine-WFIW FM Middays
|
|
Tom joined the afternoon staff in 1985. He handles paperwork for all of the stations as well as being on-air during the afternoon. He and his wife, Sheri, live east of Fairfield with their twin daughters, Brogan and Darian.

Stan David-Sports Director 1971-2009
|
|
Stan was our long-time WFIW Sports Director and was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000 and broadcast many sports events on WFIW since 1971. He was "The Voice of the Mules." Stan died November 11, 2009 at the young age of 59.

Deron joined the WFIW Staff in March 1991 as an Afternoon AM Operator. He also gathers news for the weekend. Deron resides in Fairfield.

Marilyn Sanders, aka Jessica James, works the evening shift at WFIW/WOKZ! She resides in Geff and enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with her dogs. She is an avid music fan, especially Bob Dylan, and loves animals!

Dustin Allison- WFIW Evenings
|
|
Dustin joined the WFIW staff in May 2008. Dustin is a December 2008 Graduate of Wabash Valley College with a degree in Radio/TV. Dustin resides in Albion.
