John “Jack” Hasara, 83, of Broughton, IL died on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 5:40 a.m. at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, IN. He was a U.S. Army veteran and supervisor of Twigg Township from 1984 to 1992.. He owned Jack Hasara Builders and was a carpenter all of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Neva Hasara of Broughton, IL; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Kathy and Brett Secrist, Barbie and Bill Brunner,Betty and Rich BrockSchmidt and Patricia and Todd Carnduff all of Springfield, IL, and Mary Ann Farrell of Oklahoma City, OK; a son and daughter-in-law, John Patrick and Sandra Hasara of Murfreesboro, TN; two step sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Lincoln and Janet Smith of Eldorado, IL and Timmy Wayne and Kathy Smith of McLeansboro, IL; eleven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for John “Jack” Hasara, 83, of Broughton, IL, will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro with burial will be in Mt. Oval Cemetery in Norris City.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
The Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
