Judith Lois Hooker

Hooker70-year-old former McLeansboro resident, Judith Lois Hooker died at 7:19 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at her home in Smiths Grove, KY.  She was a retired home health worker.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Mezo of Carbondale and Kevin Hooker of Owensboro, KY; three daughters, Kristina Coop of Smiths Grove, KY, Angela Bright and Lynn Hooker, both of Smiths Grove, KY; three brothers, John W. Mezo and Bob Mezo, both of McLeansboro and James Mezo of Cuba, MO; a sister, Nancy Markle of Wheeling, WV; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services for Judith Lois Hooker will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the IOOF Cemetery at McLeansboro.

Visitation will be from 4 – 7 Saturday evening, Jan. 4 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
