At the Edwardsville Sectional:

Corbin Kakac of Fairfield won the meet with a time of 16:40. Joshua Vaughan was 29th with a time of 18:26. Billy Martinez was 38th with a time of 18:35. Ethan Kakac was 48th with a time of 18:48. Chance Martinez was 51st with a time of 18:56. As a team, Fairfield finished 5th and also advances to state competition. In the girls meet, August Martinez finished 20th with a time of 21:15.
