14-year-old West Salem resident, Maxwell “Max” Kirk Elliott died at 5:12 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at his home. He would have been an 8th grader at West Salem Grade School this year.
Survivors include his parents, George Elliott and Regina Cashmore; a sister, Casandra Elliott of West Salem; a brother, Samson Elliott of West Salem; grandparent, Karen Cashmore of Carmi; aunts and uncles, Kenneth (Amy) Elliott of Norman, OK, Timothy (Linda) Elliott of Amarillo, TX, Darla (Earl) Smeltzer of El Reno, OK, Daniel (Angi) Elliot of Norman, OK, Richard Cashmore of Carmi, Tina (Kregg) Tolley of Crossville, Vonda (Melvin) Thomas of Springerton, June (Jessie Hise) Hurt of McLeansboro and Mary (Joseph) Jones of Ridgway, IL; 21 cousins and close friends, Regina, Sam, Stephani, Cobraa and Kyote Scott.
A memorial service for Max Elliott will be 3 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at the Moravian Church in West Salem.
Visitation will be from 1 – 3 Thursday, June 12 at the church. Cremation will take place at a later date.
The Ingram Funeral Home of West Salem is in charge of all the arrangements.
