Neva V. Black, formerly of Enfield and Carmi, died on Tuesday, July 9th at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She had worked in aircraft manufacturing and was a telephone operator for several years prior to her marriage.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law Maurie and Alice Black of Enfield and Brian and Yvonne Black of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Tom Roberts of Carmi, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, 1 sister Nezzie Myrgo of Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, 2 sisters-in-law Ernie England of Pontiac, Michigan and Vivian England of Whittier, North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Neva V. Black will be 11 a.m. Friday July 12, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Enfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday July 11, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield.
