Charles "Fritz" Ketzner
76-year-old Fairfield resident, Charles "Fritz" Ketzner died at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday, June 8 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He operated Ketzner Heating & Air Conditioning, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean Wilkerson of Princeton, IN; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Walter of Fairfield.
Funeral services for Charles "Fritz" Ketzner will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
James Russell McNalty
52-year-old Hermitage, TN, resident, James Russell McNalty, died Wednesday, June 2, at his home. He served as Coordinator of Activities and transportation at McKendree Village in Hermitage, TN.
Surviving are his parents, Russell and Sherry McNalty of McLeansboro; three sisters, Kathy Teffertiller of McLeansboro, Christi Curfman and Paula Gossage; one uncle, Vernon Hunter of Morrilton, AR; two aunts, Edna Preston of Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, and Ada Binkley of Thornbury, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A Graveside Memorial Service for James Russell McNalty will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Thursday School of McLeansboro, which is sponsored by the McLeansboro Church of Christ.
Danny Isaacs, Sr.
45-year-old Clay City resident, Danny Isaacs, Sr. died at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Clay County Hospital in Flora. He was a partner in Isaacs Roofing.
Surviving are his wife Diana Isaacs of Clay City; his parents, Lowell and Stella Isaacs of Fairfield; three sons, Jeffrey Isaacs of Phoenix, AZ, Greg Isaacs of Camp LaJune, NC and Danny Jr. "DJ" of Clay City; five sisters, Brenda Stafford of Counce, TN, Becky Hannaford of Humboldt, TN, Angie Phelps of Springerton, Renee Rush of Springerton and Tracy Gunter of Pittsburgh, IL; and two brothers, Bill and Tim both of Mill Shoals.
Funeral services for Danny Isaacs Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Garrison Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 14, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the Dr. Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund.
Walter Nelson
Walter G. Nelson, 89, of Grayville died Sunday, June 6 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville. He was a World War II Army veteran, truck driver, and professional accordion player.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Nelson; daughter Tina Wells and her husband Craig, all of Grayville; five grandchildren, Robert Lewis Hammerstone, Kristin Schweigert and her husband Brett, Brooke Armstrong and her husband Bob, Vanessa Fullop and her husband Janos, David Wells and his wife Allison; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-7 pm Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville followed by a funeral service at 7 pm. Military rites will be conducted after the funeral.
Mr. Nelson will be transported to Wait-Ross-Alanson Funeral Home in Algonquin, Illinois, for a visitation and funeral service on Friday, June 11. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am with prior visitation at 9:30 am. Entombment will be in Algonquin Cemetery.
The Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville and Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Home in Algonquin are in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Grayville Library Boosters or American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the Cook Chapel in Grayville.
Heath Copeland
24-year-old Fairfield resident and formerly of Albion, Heath Alexander Copeland died Sunday at 10:33 a.m. at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He had battled cancer since April of 2006. Heath was a 2004 graduate of Edwards County High School where he was an athlete and scholar. He graduated from SIU-Carbondale in August of 2007 with a degree in Finance with honors. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Albion. He had worked at Regions Bank in Carbondale and for Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Cori Copeland of Fairfield; a brother, Reece (Christina) Copeland; a niece, Myra Copeland and nephew Jack Copeland, both of Fairfield; paternal grandparents, Gene and Jackie Copeland of Albion; maternal grandmother, Virginia Studebaker of Geneva, IL; Aunt Nan (Bill) Harris, Uncle Pat (Laura Beth) Copeland, Uncle Scott (Mary) Studebaker, Aunt Wendi (Allan) DeFelice, Aunt Beth (Randy) Hallam, and Uncle Todd (Jennifer) Studebaker; 13 cousins; plus many close friends from high school and college.
Services for Heath Copeland will be Thursday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Albion. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9 after 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Albion. Nale's Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of all arangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation (Comfort Room) or Our Angel of Hope of Southeastern Illinois.
Bob Wilkey
83-year-old former Belle Rive resident, Bobby G. Wilkey of Tallahassee, FL died at 8:10 p.m. on Friday, June 4 at Capital Regional Health Center in Tallahassee, FL. He was a salesman at Esposito's Garden Center.
Survivors include his former wife and friend, Christine Wilkey; three sons, Bobby, Donnie and Billy Ray Wilkey; daughters, Brenda Faye Harms and Glenda Gaye Albritton; a brother, Jack Wilkey; a sister, Beverly Wilkey Kelley; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a close friend, Dean Allan Porostovsky.
Graveside services for Bobby G. Wilkey will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9 at the Dahlgren IOOF Cemetery.The Mount Vernon American Legion Post 141 will provide military rites.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the Gholson Funreal Home in Dahlgren.
The Gholson Funeral Home of Dahlgren is in charge of all the arrangements.
Bryce Andrew Rinehart
15-year-old Flora resident Bryce Andrew Rinehart died at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville. He was a sophomore at Flora High School.
Survivors include his father Toby Rinehart of Flora and mother, Andrea Rinehart of Flora; paternal grandmother, Hughlene Rinehart of Louisville, maternal grandparents, Dale and Patty Loehr of Flora; great-grandparents, Charlene Rinehart of Louisville, Charles Oestreich of Xenia and Walter Tidwell of Carmi; great-great-grandfather, John McDurman of Evansville, IN and a brother, Mason Rinehart of Flora.
Services for Bryce Andrew Rinehart will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at the Flora High School Auditorium with burial in Elmwood Cemetery at Flora.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday, June 11 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

Alvin Harris
84-year-old Louisville resident, Major Alvin H. Harris died at 8:31 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at Lakeland Rehab & Healthcare Center in Effingham. He was a retired U.S. Army Air Force Major and was owner and operator of Clay County Ag-Air. He also farmed and was an area school bus driver.
Survivors include children, Melanie Savage of Louisville and Allison Harris of Fairview Heights, IL; and two grandchildren.
Services for Major Alvin H. Harris will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 9 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in flora with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery at Louisville with military honors.

Ruth A. Hamilton
67-year-old Albion resident, Ruth A. Hamilton died at 8:52 a.m. Sunday, June 6 in Evansville, IN. She was a beautician.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell (Skip) Hamilton of Albion; a son, Robert K. Hamilton of Aurora, CO; a daughter, Debbie Cochran of Albion and three grandchildren.
Services for Ruth A. Hamilton will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 11 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 Thursday evening, June 10 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion.

James C. Thompson
66-year-old Dale, IL resident, James C. Thompson died at 4:18 a.m. Friday, June 4 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He had been a factory lineman at the former American Can Company in McLeansboro.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel; sons, Marvin Thompson of Kokomo, IN, Oval Royse of Elgin, IL, Kenneth Royse of Dale and Blaine Royse of Broughton; daughters, Joane, Jeannie and Cristy Thompson, all of Florida and Barbara Watson of Troutman, NC; brothers, Larry Thompson of Dale, Bob and Rex Thompson of McLeansboro; sisters, Vera Smith and Teresa Brown of Dale and Verla Richardson of McLeansboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services for James C. Thompson will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 8 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
