86-year-old former McLeansboro resident, Pauline Karcher of East Peoria, IL died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was a member of St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Piopolis and St. Monica’s Catholic Church, East Peoria.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin and Kent Karcher of Washington, IL; two daughters, Karen Kinker of Olney, MD and Karla Kovarik of Naperville, IL; a sister, Monica Frey; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services for Pauline Karcher will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at St. John Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Piopolis, St. Monica’s Catholic Church, E. Peoria, or the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
