73-year-old Grayville resident, Richard Ray Wood died Sunday, July 28 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville. He had been a supervisor for 25 years at Pacific Press and Shear in Mount Carmel and later drove a truck. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kay Wood; sons, Rick and Randy Wood of Grayville; brothers, Edward and Steven Nading, both of Townsend, GA; sisters-in-law, Fay Wood of Albion and Marge Wood of Fairfield; sisters, Rosemary Allen of Mt. Carmel, Patricia Nava of Crossville, Sherril Brown of Townsend, GA, Zelma Marks of Bridgeport, IL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services for Richard Ray Wood will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville with burial and military rites at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday, July 31 at the Cook Chapel in Grayville.
