66-year-old Fairfield resident, Robert Edwin Crane died at 5:20 a.m. Monday, March 4 at his home in Fairfield. A veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of the Bronze star, he retired from Airtex Products in Fairfield in 2009 after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Glenna Crane of Fairfield; daughters, Michelle Wolfe, Tammy Little, Christine Laird and Sherrie Buchanan; a son, Keith Thomason; sisters, Vera Terrell and Ruth Ann Richardson; brothers, Michael and Max Crane and Charles Crane, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Victor Watson; a mother and father-in-law, Bernadine and Robert Watson; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Robert Edwin Crane will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 8 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Thursday evening, March 7 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Good Samaritan and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
