62-year-old Geff resident, Ron Carter died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, April 4 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a self-employed electrician and carpenter.
Survivors include his parents, Til and Mary Carter of Geff; his wife, Becky Carter of Geff; a daughter, Wendy Ahlstedt of Newburgh, IN; a brother, Larry Carter of Fairfield; two grandsons, Carter and Caleb Ahlstedt of Newburgh, IN.
Services for Ron Carter will be 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Bestow Cemetery with full military rites provided by the American Legion Post 176 and the VFW Post 4535.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.
