97-year-old McLeansboro resident, Ruby Irene Niksch died at 2:40 a.m. Friday, June 7 at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN. A homemaker, she was a 50-plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Niksch and wife Sharon and Tom Niksch and wife Charlotte of Evansville, IN; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five nieces; Mark Drake of McLeansboro, Harriett Ann Johnson of Thompsonville, IL, Mary Lou Rice of Georgia, Jacqueline Glover of California and Myrna Beckman of Wisconsin.
Funeral services for Ruby Irene Niksch will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the Oddfellows Cemetery at McLeansboro.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday, June 10 until the time of service at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to the Knob Prairie Cemetery Association in Akin, IL and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
