89 year old William H “Jill” Dial of McLeansboro died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Heritage Woods Assisted Living Facility in McLeansboro. He was an oilfield worker and farmer and also served in the US Navy during World War 2 on LST 908.
He is survived by his wife Lorene, of McLeansboro and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for William Dial will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Harre Funeral home in McLeansboro, with burial in the Braden Valley Cemetery west of Dale. Graveside military rites will be performed by the American Legion post 106 McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Harre Funeral home in McLeansboro, with Masonic Rites at 7pm by A.F & A.M> Polk lodge 137 and the Tuscan lodge.
