67-year-old Birmingham, AL resident, Joyce A. Jasik died at 11am Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Joyce retired as a Data Processor at EDS Corporation (Subsidiary of GM) in Detroit, MI. She was of the Catholic faith.
Joyce is survived by her mother Mildred Hargrave of Geff, IL; significant other Claude Young of Birmingham, AL; one daughter Jill Jasik of Flint, MI; one sister Debbie Vangilder of Geff, IL and one brother William (Judy) Simpson of Petersburg, MI. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be 2pm Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Fairfield, IL. Those attending the service should go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Joyce may be given to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
