74-year-old Carmi resident, Carolyn Lee Miller died Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Okeechobee Hospital in Okeechobee, FL. A retired seamstress, she was a member of the Carmi American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Okeechobee, FL.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph (Zelma) Miller of Waddle, AZ, Ronald (fiance Leann Burnett) Miller of Springerton, IL and Billy Joe Barbre of Houston, TX; two daughters, Susan Greenwood of Atlanta, GA and Tracey Duncan of Mt. Vernon, IL; two sisters, JoAnn Preston of Carmi and Debra Ladley of Wadesville, IN; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside memorial service for Carolyn Lee Miller will be held at the West Union Cemetery at a later date.
The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
