Louise Browning

browingLouise Browning, 91, of Carmi, Illinois, died Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Louise was a member of the New Beginnings Church of God in Carmi. Her work career included working at Ainsbrooke Corporation (the “factory”), and as a sales clerk at Maxine’s Dress Shop, and later, Mary Ann’s Dress Shop. She later sat with people in their homes.

Survivors include son Dennis Browning, of Carbondale, Colorado; daughter Glenda (Darrell) Hankins of Carmi; grandchildren Louis Hankins, Jana (Jeff) Bradshaw, Jill (Ben) Talley; great grandchildren Kayleigh Hankins, Evan Talley, Ava Talley, Olivia Talley, Broden Bradshaw, Ethan Bradshaw and Sharea (Nate) Overman; great great grandchild Ren Overman.

Funeral services for Louise Browning will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18 at the New Beginnings Church of God in Carmi with burial in West Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday, Feb. 18 at the New Beginnings Church of God in Carmi

The Cook Funeral Chapel of Carmi is in charge of all the arrangements.
