David Edward Billingsley, age 67, of Flora died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Clay County Hospital in Flora. He and his wife, Melissa, operated the Flora Dairy Queen.
Survivors include his wife: Melissa Billingsley of Flora; parents: Ed and Molly Billingsley of Flora; son: Jonathon C. Billingsley (Jesteen) of Flora; 5 grandchildren: Reagan, Ava, and Rylan Billingsley, Zaiden and Azaira Lewis; brother: Richard Billingsley (Cathy) of Mesquite, NV; aunt: Trudy Neubold; mother-in-law: Pearl (the late Carl) Beert of Rockford; nieces and nephews including Tristan Billingsley and Chynna LaRusso (Josiah); along with in-laws, cousins, and many friends.
A funeral service for David Billingsley will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
