Opdyke resident, Raymond H Shelton age 81, passed away at Friday evening (3/18) at the Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Jean Shelton of Opdyke, 3 brothers George Shelton of Opdyke, Harold and Junior Ray Shelton both of Mt. Vernon, and a sister Mary Shelton of Mt. Vernon.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday March 19th at 3 pm at the Opdyke cemetery, The Gholson funeral home in Dahlgren is in charge of all the arrangements.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
