89-year-old Mildred Irene Berg of Fairfield passed away at 6:47 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Way-Fair Nursing Home. Mildred worked at the Sewing Factory for 12 years and was also a farmwife.
She is survived by a daughter Betty Jo Draper and husband Short of Simi Valley, CA; 2 sons Gary Rankin of Gilbert, AZ and Larry Rankin and wife Anna of Fairfield; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-great grandchildren and a brother Charlie Brown of Fairfield.
Services will be on Monday, April 11th with a graveside at Maple Hill Cemetery at 12 noon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials can be made to Hope Ministry or Safe Haven Hospice. The family requests casual dress for services. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
