90-year-old Albion resident, Geneva R. Shepherd died at 4:04 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Wabash Christian Retirement in Carmi. She had worked as a secretary and had been a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Janice) Shepherd of Albion and Gene (Marsha) Shepherd of Anaheim, CA; a brother, Clifford Briggs of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Geneva R. Shepherd will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 at the Little Prairie Christian Church west of Albion with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 until the time of service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Little Prairie Building Fund, Wabash Christian Retirement Center or Safe Haven Hospice and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
