Iona Ruth Daubs

90-year-old Albion native, Iona Ruth Daubs died at 1:35 a.m. Monday, May 16 at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, Mo. She had worked for Lockheed Aircraft during WWII in Fresno, Calif. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel, was a member of the Wabash General Hospital Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, James Daniel Daubs of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Rebecca Jane Fuller of St. Louis; a brother, Donald (Vivian) Doty of Albion; a sister-in-law, Ruth Doty of Albion; two grandchildren, Valerie Bevis and Erin Fuller-Werries and six great-grandchildren, Aidan, Aaron, Addison, Ashtyn, Liam and Lucas.

Funeral services for Iona Ruth Daubs will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Macedonia Cemetery at West Salem.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19 until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
