97-year-old McLeansboro resident, Evan Allen Harper died at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25 at McLeansboro Healthcare and Rehab Center. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include two nieces, Darlene Wind and husband Kenneth of Normal, Ill. and Dorothy Hamson and husband Dennis of Belle Rive, Ill; two nephews, John Paul Barr of Evansville, Ind. and Stanley Harper and wife Jan of Lansing, Mich. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Evan Allen Harper will be 12 noon Thursday, June 30 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Union Cemetery at McLeansboro.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, June 30 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
