Anita Christine “Chris” Hosselton

Chris%20Hosselton%20obit%20photoAnita Christine “Chris” Hosselton, age 57, of Louisville, Illinois died Tuesday morning, June 28 at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Flora.  She went to work at Flora Bank & Trust when it was first established. She had also worked at N.A.L., Goodman Steel, and Southeastern Illinois Counseling Center in Olney.   In 2008, she opened Chris’ Custom Sewing on the Louisville Square, specializing in dresses for school functions and weddings along with doing alterations. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband: Steve Hosselton of Louisville; children: Kylie Ramos (Daniel) of Laredo, TX and Steve C. Hosselton (Brittani) of Louisville; 8 grandchildren: Michaela Mabe, Christina Mabe, Kaitalynn Ramos, Zanna Mabe, Steven “Joey” Mabe, Mia Walker, Sawyer Hosselton, Beau Christopher Hosselton and 1 more expected grandchild; her mother: Mary Kittle of Flora; a brother: Gary Kittle (Sherrie) of Clay City; 3 sisters: Connie Osborne (Gayle) of Newburgh, IN, Brenda Bandy (Carl) of Flora, and Patty Peters (Charlie) of Cisne; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Carroll and Ramona Hosselton of Louisville; a sister-in-law: Pamela Sams (Rick) of Memphis, TN; along with a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Chris Hosselton will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with burial in Golden Cemetery, Louisville.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to Clay County Cancer Crusaders and will be accepted at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
