Loretta Kinney, 73 of Fairfield, unexpectedly died from a massive stroke on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 12:20 AM at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was a well-known educator in the Fairfield area, having taught at the grade school, high school, and college levels. She was a member of the Geff Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years Bob Kinney of Fairfield, sons David (Debbie) Kinney of Fairfield, Scott (Kristi) Kinney of Effingham, and Matt (Lissa) Kinney of Fairfield, a daughter J’ne (Cary) Templin of Frankfort, IL, a daughter in law Sheila Kinney of Fairfield, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a brother J.D. (Liz) Hooper of Tampa, FL.
Funeral services for Loretta Kinney will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, July 6 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Geff Christian Church and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
