Thelma Josephine Glenn, McLeansboro

Josephine Glenn New photo97-year-old McLeansboro resident, Thelma Josephine Glenn died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She had been a seamstress at the Elder Manufacturing Company. She was founder of the Crisis Closet, was involved with Mission Trips to Jamaica, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro where she served 33 years as a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include a son, Mike Glenn and wife Sharon of McLeansboro; a son-in-law, Wendell Myers of McLeansboro; a daughter, Connie Devore and husband Doug of Carmi; four grandchildren, Brenda Drysdale and husband Chris, Kris Halley and wife Misti, Erin Halley and wife Jackie and Sara Glenn; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Dylan, Kenadee, Isabella, Elizabeth and Alexaviar Halley; Maci and Derek Endicott and a nephew, Carl Henke.

Funeral services for Thelma Josephine Glenn will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at McLeansboro.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21 until the time of service at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
