85-year-old Fairfield resident, Barbara “Babe” Ward died at 2:45 Thursday morning, July 28 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She had been the owner and secretary of Brach’s.
Survivors include step-sons, Steve and wife Beverly Ward of Albion and Rob Ward of Fairfield; five step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Babe Ward will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 1 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 Sunday evening, July 31 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Skilled Care Unit and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
