Rafael “Ralph” Angel Negron, Wayne City

83-year-old Wayne City resident, Rafael “Ralph” Angel Negron died Saturday, August 6 at his home.  A native of Puerto Rico, he operated family bakeries in Illinois, Arkansas and Minnesota and eventually in Wayne City where he worked at Tina’s Cake and Bake and in his family’s home.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Negron of Wayne City; a daughter, Rita Craiglow of Minnesota; a son, Gary Negron and wife Leslie of Minnesota; a daughter, Tina McCormick of Wayne City; a son, Michael Negron and wife Heather of Minnesota; a son, Tony Negron and wife Mary of Wayne City; a sister, Ana Brignoni and husband Arturo of Deltona, Florida; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ralph Negron will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.

Visitation will be 1 – 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Archie Sanders Chapel in Wayne City.

Memorials may be made to the Archie Sanders Chapel or to Ralph’s wife Carol to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Richardson Funeral Home or the Archie Sanders Chapel in Wayne City.

The Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City is in charge of all the arrangements.
