Richard Albert Henning, III, 67, of Concord, Illinois, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at his home. Richard was the operator of a DX Service Station in Columbia, Missouri, for 20 years before coming to White County to farm. He was a member of the Crossville Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Henning of Concord; brother Van (Linda) Henning of Crossville; nephews Alex Henning and Eric Henning.
There will be no public visitation or funeral. A celebration of Richard’s life will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 12, 2016, at the home of Van and Linda Henning.
Memorials may be made in Richard’s honor to Pets at Risk or Hospice of Southern Illinois, and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
