April Dawn Hurd, 44, of Salem, Illinois, formerly of Flora, Illinois, died Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Salem Township Hospital. At the time of her death April worked at the Iuka & Omega General Stores.
April is survived by her children, Andrea (David) Branch of Salem, IL, Zackary Eastin of Salem, IL, Griffin Eastin of Salem, IL, father and stepmother, Harold “Sparky” & Julie Hurd of Flora, IL, grandchildren, Landon Hurd, Alexis Hurd, Charles Branch, & Waylon Branch, all of Salem, IL, sister Erica (Randy) Abner of Dickinson, ND, brother Lance (Jennifer) Hurd of Flora, IL, step brother, Ethan (Carly) Book of Utica, KY, nieces and nephews, Gage Cobb, Donovan Cobb, Echoe Abner, Elsie Abner, Jordan Kessler, Mackenzie Goff, Kyle Goff, Ava Hurd, Hallie Book and Leah Book.
Memorial Services for April Hurd will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 5:00 p.m., at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora.
