97 year-old Eileen L. Warren, a resident of Benton, Illinois and formerly of Thompsonville, Illinois, passed away December 23, in the Franklin Hospital at Benton. A homemaker, she was a former member of the McLeansboro Eastern Star and the Live and Learn Science Club.
She is survived by three sons: Herbert (Joyce) Warren of Hutchinson, Kansas, David Warren of Thompsonville, and Jeffrey (Faye) Warren of Thompsonville. Also one daughter Kristina (Mike) Cavaness of Thompsonville. Also 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service for Eileen L. Warren will be held at a later date, as her body has been donated to the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital or the St. Jude’s Hospital and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home. The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
