86-year-old Fairfield resident, Kathryn “Katie” Mullinex died at 12:34 p.m. Monday, January 16 at Wabash Christian Retirement in Carmi. Katie worked for Airtex Products, Southern Lumber and retired from Jones Drilling as secretary and bookkeeper.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Linda Lisman of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Kamber and husband Guy DiMaggio of Carbondale, Karisa and husband Chad Jones of Evansville, Ind., Kari and Husband Josh Zurliene of Fairfield, Kevin Lisman of Fairfield and Keil and wife Nicole Lisman of Effingham; 7 great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Katie Mullenix will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 20 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Those attending the service should go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Wabash Christian Retirement Center Memory Care Unit in Carmi and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
