Ruth Chaney, 97, of Fairfield died at 9:24PM on Saturday January 14th at Fairfield Memorial Hospital Skilled Care Unit. She was a Homemaker and a longtime Tupperware Representative. She was a member of the West Antioch Church, INEZ Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors, White Shrine, and Women’s club of Fairfield where she was the President and Woman of the year.
Ruth is survived by 2 sons- Dwayne (Mary Anne) Chaney of Collinsville IL, and Gaylen Chaney of Ridge Manor FL; a daughter- Verla Cushman of Marshall, Ill.; 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Thursday 1/19 at West Antioch Church in Mill Shoals with burial in West Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Wednesday 1/18 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to West Antioch Church Building Fund.
