Eria Mae Hansen – McLeansboro

95-year-old McLeansboro resident, Eria Mae Hansen died at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in McLeansboro.  She had been a seamstress and was owner of Mae Ras Draperies in Odessa, TX. She was a member of the Eastern Star, was involved in the Senior Citizens Center in Odessa, TX, was active in AARP and served as president of the Methodist Sunday School Class in Odessa, TX.

Survivors include three nephews, Robert Carnett and wife Margaret of Houston, TX, Ed Carnett and wife Reita of Harrisburg and Hubert d. Jessup and wife Marie of California; two nieces, Janis Rubenacker and husband Andy of Piopolis, IL and Arvilla Boswell and husband Joe of California; several great-nieces and great-great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services for Eria Mae Hansen will be in Odessa, TX at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Friday evening, Jan. 20 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
