86 year-old Eva Lou Allen, of Carmi, died Saturday, January 21 at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was a homemaker, and had attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Carmi.
She is survived by her son, David (Jo) Allen and daughter, Gay Barbre; grandchildren, Courtney Thompson, Sarah Grisham, Wil and Joseph Allen, Joni Holtzclaw, Misty Gwaltney and Brandon Barbre; brother, Richard Garrett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday January 24 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Marshall Ferry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday January 23 at the funeral home.
The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of all the arrangements.
