Lloyd E. Thomas, 84 of Springerton died at 9:46 a.m. Thursday, February 23 ,2017 at the Carmi Manor Nursing Home in Carmi, Illinois. He was a retired farmer and truck driver and member of the Haven Church, formerly the Old Springer Church near Bungay, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife Betty Thomas of Springerton; a son Brad E. (Susan) Thomas of Springerton, Illinois; a daughter Tamara (Kerry) Warren of McLeansboro. Also surviving are two grandsons; David and Dalton Thomas of Springerton.
Funeral services for Lloyd E . Thomas will be 11 a.m. Sunday February 26 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to the Haven Church and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro which is in charge of the arrangements.
