Jimmy Dale Newman – Grayville

Jimmy Dale Newman, 73, of Grayville, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  Jimmy is best known for his work in Grayville as a bartender.  He was an Army veteran and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He was a member of the Moose Club, American Legion, VFW, Eagles and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include daughters Deonna (Louis) Crochet of Booneville, Indiana, Leslie (Jack) Wells of Wentzville, Missouri, Teresa (Joshua) Bridgeman of Henderson, Kentucky; sisters Gloria Emmons of Vincennes, Indiana, Glenna (Jerry) Spruell of Grayville; grandchildren Joshua (Courtney) Crochet, Jeremy (Lanie) Crochet, Jacob Crochet, Alexis Wells, Raley Wells, Mason Bridgeman, Cooper Bridgeman; great grandchild Shiloh Crochet.

Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Newman will be 10 a.m. Saturday April 15 at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling with full military rites.

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Friday evening, April 14 at the Cook Chapel in Grayville.
