81-year-old Fairfield resident, Violet L. Thomason, died at 6:30pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home. She was a caregiver and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Sonny Thomason of Fairfield, two daughters Cindy Hammond and Nancy (DeWayne) Gregory both of Fairfield, four grandchildren Jason Thomason, Justn (Brad) Young, and Jaymin Gregory all of Fairfield, and James Gregory of Rockford, Illinois, five great grandchildren Jaeda, Ryland, and Ellyse Thomason and Oliver and Sadie Young all of Fairfield, two special nieces Traci Carter and family, and Melissa Harper and family both of Fairfield, two brothers Loren Lee (Debi) Dunn and Alvin Dunn both of Fairfield, one sister Sharon (Manuel) Miranda of Fairfield.
Funeral services for Violet Thomason will be at 2pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Koontz Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service. Memorials can be made to the SSM Hospice and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
