Agnes L. Russell 84 of Enfield, passed away Saturday December 23, 2017 at the Linda E.White Hospice in Evansville, IN. She was born June 29, 1933 in Carmi the daughter of Robert and Frances (Edwards) Rister. She was married to Junior Franklin “Buck” Russell on August 6, 1949.
Agnes had worked at the Enfield Sewing Factory. She enjoyed canning, gardening and cooking. She loved her grandchildren. She attended the Enfield General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Buck; sons, Robert (Tracey) Russell of Norris City and Terry (Cindy) Russell of Enfield; her daughter, Barbara (Robert) Heck of Dahlgren; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Judy) Rister of Evansville and GL “Goldie” Rister of Huntley, IL; sister, Alice (Carl) Hutchcraft of Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Larry Russell; brothers, James and Archie Rister and sister, Nettie Stokes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Enfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services. Memorials are suggested to the Linda E. White Hospice in care of the funeral home.
