Melva June Loveridge 81 of Murray, Kentucky passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, Murray, Kentucky. She was born August 25, 1936 in Dale, IL. She was the daughter of George Edward Tucker and Grace Ellen Tucker. She was married to Jack Dale Loveridge on February, 2 1955.
Melva was a retired secretary for Murray State University. Attended the first Methodist Church of Murray, KY and was a quilter at the church. She is survived by her daughter Jackie Diane Logsdon and husband Jack of Salt Lake City, Utah. One son Michael Dale Loveridge and wife Teresa of Hardin, KY. Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren two sisters and one sister-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and brother Don.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Harre Funeral Home, in Mcleansboro with burial in the Digby Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 am until time of service. The Harre Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
