Dorothy Ellen Short, 92, of Burnt Prairie died at 10:35 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Wabash Christian Village. She was a farm wife and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Burnt Prairie.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Nola and Ray Jones of Grayville; two sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Deloris Short of Carmi, and Jim and Karlos Short of Madisonville, KY; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dorothy Short will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Centerville Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Campbell Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mitchell Hickey Memorial Scholarship Fund or Liberty Baptist Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
