65-year-old Belle Rive resident, Can Van Hoang died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 at his home. He had been an insert and connector motor winder at Mt. Vernon Electric for 35 years. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Dahlgren.
Survivors include his wife Teresa Hoang of Belle Rive; two sons, Jason Hoang and wife Andrea of Edwardsville, IL and Shawn Hoang and wife Hailey of Bonnie, IL; a sister, Niem Hoang of DaNang Vietnam; a brother, Father Can Hoang of Hue Vietnam; three grandchildren, Evan, Annabelle and Claire Hoang; his father and mother-in-law, James and Helen Roberson of Evansville, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Can Van Hoang will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Dahlgren with burial at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 Friday evening, June 1 at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
