Theodore E. “Ted” Johnson, 91, of Crossville, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. Ted was a member of the Crossville United Methodist Church. He was a farmer, US Navy Korean War veteran, and member of the American Legion.
Survivors include son Michael L. Johnson and fiancé Kim Dickey of Crossville; daughter Jonna K. (Tim E.) Higgins of Appleton, Wisconsin; brother Radford M. Johnson, Jr. of Crossville; grandson Tyler R. Johnson of Crossville; sister-in-law Uldene Stephens of Philpot, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 3-5 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Crossville United Methodist Church in Crossville. Funeral is 10 am, Monday, June 4, 2018, at the church. Burial with military rites is in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Crossville United Methodist Church and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville. Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville is in charge of arrangements.
