Norma Ruth Wick – Albion

92 year-old Norma Ruth Wick, died on July 30 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion. Norma was born April 16, 1926 in Grayville to parents Chesrown and Floy (Brown) Robinson.

She married Joe Wick on November 10, 1945 in West Salem. They had one daughter, Ronda Kay. Norma is survived by her daughter, Ronda Kay Gill; grandsons: Roger Gill of Albion and Rex Gill and wife, Joni, of Browns. She is also survived by five great-grandsons: Chance and wife Heather Gill and Josh Gill of West Salem, Ross Gill of Albion, Josef and Elijah Gill of Browns; two great-granddaughters: Jordan Gill of West Salem and Mercides Gill of Browns; two great-great-grandsons, Levi and Jaxson Gill of West Salem; one great-great-granddaughter, Brynley Gill of West Salem; two sisters: Anita Smith and Patricia Taylor of Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wick; her son-in-law, Richard Gill; and her parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 3 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. The funeral service will be held at noon with burial to follow at Graceland. Memorials may be made to the “Friends of the Library,” and envelopes will be available at the service.
