66 year-old Beverly D. Johnson of Fairfield died at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, August 6 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was a retired LPN and had worked for over 30 years at New Harmony Healthcare in New Harmony, IN.
Beverly was born on April 5, 1952, in Fairfield, to Archie and Dorothy (Kline) Meeks. She was married to Harold Johnson.
Survivors include her husband Harold, one daughter Carrie (Clint) Wick of Fairfield, two sons Joe (Lesia) Kuykendall of Bethalto, IL and Jonathan Kuykendall of Fairfield, four grandchildren, and one sister Karen Gregory of Golconda, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Beverly Johnson will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 10 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, August 9th at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Wayne County Humane Society and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements
