64 year old Burnt Prairie resident, David Duckworth passed away at 4:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at his residence. He was a truck driver and mechanic for Woodrow Farms.
He was the son of Charles D. and Norma (Musgrave) Duckworth. David was born Sept. 4, 1954 in Fairfield, Illinois. David served in the United States Army from 1982 to 1987.
David Duckworth is survived by his mother, Norma Duckworth of Carmi, Illinois, his sister, Carolyn & husband Jim Funkhouser of Grayville, Illinois, and one niece, Brooke Funkhouser of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father.
Funeral services for David Duckworth will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with military Honors following the services. Visitation will be 12:00 noon Thursday until time of services. Burial will be at a later date.
