Bonnie M. McKasson, 90, of Fairfield, died at 10:51pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, IL. She had been a telephone operator for fifteen years in East St. Louis. Bonnie was born on October 27, 1927, in East St. Louis, IL to John and Mildred (Orvis) McCaffery. She was married to Robert McKasson, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons Michael (Samantha) McKasson of Colorado Springs, CO, and Terry McKasson of Fairfield, one step-son Robert McKasson, Jr of San Juan Capistrano, CA, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Along with her husband Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Christine.
Funeral services for Bonnie McKasson will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the funeral home. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
