Peggy Sue Naylor, 79, of Carmi, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. She was born March 15, 1939, in Carmi, the daughter of Oren “Pete” Pearce and Madge (Curtis) Pearce. She was married to Ronald M. “Ron” Naylor, and he survives.
Peggy was an office manager for Basin Well Survey, and later for G & R Auto Parts. She enjoyed boating and spending time on the river.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Naylor of Carmi; son Brad Hurt of Crossville, Illinois; step-sons Van (Carol) Naylor of Hillsboro, Illinois, David (Karla) Naylor of Carmi; step-daughter Stephanie (Andy) Higgins of Evansville, Indiana; brother David Pearce of Carmi.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation and funeral are Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi. Visitation is at 11 am and funeral is at 1 pm. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Albion, Illinois.
